The Washoe County Regional Et Monitoring Program is a network of monitoring stations located in the region surrounding Reno, Nevada that monitor potential evapotranspiration rates. The potential evapotranspiration rates can then be used to determine lawn and crop watering needs. This project is sponsored by the Washoe County Regional Water Planning Commission in conjuction with
Washoe County Department of Water Resources, the
University of Nevada Cooperative Extension ,
University of Nevada College of Agriculture , and the
Desert Research Institute of the University and Community College System of Nevada.
